The AV-8 is an 8U retractable shelf designed to be used with our 1SKB-R100, 1SKB-R102, 1SKB-R102W, 1SKB-R104, 1SKB-R104W, 1SKB-R106, 1SKB-R106W, and 1SKB19-R1208 products. Not only is the AV-8 a great accessory/add-on for those products, but also can be mounted to any slant top mixer case with at least 8U of rack space, including our 1SKB-82DJ, 1SKB-84DJ and 1SKB-106DJ products. The AV-8 is the perfect solution for a laptop or projector on top of these cases.

The mounting surface is 17″ x 11″. The 1SKB-AV8 was designed to work with any slant rack that is 8U or longer and has a slant in the 6-8 degree range, however, there is no guarantee that the lid for your case will fit over the 1SKB-AV8 (except when used with the 1SKB-R102/4/6). When mounted to a slant rack other than the 1SKB-R102/4/6, the 1SKB-AV8 is ~3.375″ high when folded down (when measured from the top of the rail to the retaining lip on the front of the 1SKB-AV8’s mounting surface). When folded down, the AV8 requires 13 3/4″ clearance from back to front.

It is only useful and usable when used with SKB's 1SKB-R100, 1SKB-R102, 1SKB-R102W, 1SKB-R104, 1SKB-R104W, 1SKB-R106, 1SKB-R106W and 1SKB19-R1208 rack cases or a SKB slant top mixer case with at least 8U of rack space on top such as their 1SKB-82DJ, 1SKB-84DJ and 1SKB-106DJ products.
